i have many stories to tell from my travels, as well as big life changes that are happening but sadly the last thing i feel like doing is sitting in front of this thing and typing. instead i am going to crawl into my warm bed and fall asleep listening to This American Life while snuggling with H & M.

there were so many amazing books i read as a young person -- i was a lucky girl to have people give me inspirational books and take me to the library, often! Middle Passage was one that introduced me to the journey most black americans made from Africa to the states. it was a hard book to read, but one of great importance. especially as a young person just beginning to learn about the complex and and critically important relationship between white and black americans.
i clearly was born too late...cause the clothes and music from this movie are what i wanna be wearing and what i wanna listen to. tight spandex pants and roller skates?! HOT!
this man created amazing art...he explored many issues facing black americans. enjoy!
